The beach of Goaz Trez (Trégastel/Trébeurden) is a large wild and preserved sandy beach (sometimes pebbly and covered with seaweed), rarely crowded and very calm, with a magnificent view. It is primarily a renowned surf spot: strong wind exposure, ideal for surfing, bodyboarding, and windsurfing (at high tide). At low tide, the vast intertidal zone stretches for hundreds of meters and is perfect for shellfish gathering (cockles, clams, razor clams, razor shells, shrimp). Swimming is possible but unsupervised, and the water is very clear. Note: the beach is bordered by a busy road (caution with children), it is poorly equipped (few or no showers, a few toilets at certain access points), parking is limited, and dogs are now banned by municipal order during the summer season.
