The Plage du Moulin Blanc, located along the seaside near the marina and Océanopolis, is well-suited for numerous sports activities. You can swim here (supervised, but preferably at high tide), practice long-distance coastal walking, and use free exercise machines installed along the seafront. The large sandy expanse, stretching nearly a kilometer, also hosts beach volleyball, pétanque (several boulodromes), kite flying thanks to the consistent wind, as well as water activities facilitated by the sheltered bay. It is also an ideal spot for walking, jogging, or walking your dog (outside the summer season). Its main appeal lies in its accessibility: it is an urban, supervised beach easily reachable by bus, close to the city center and many restaurants and terraces. The setting offers a beautiful view of the port, the marina, and the boats, with playgrounds for children and a pleasant space to relax. A recurring downside, however, is the frequent presence of green algae and water quality deemed poor for swimming, making it primarily a spot for strolling and leisure rather than bathing.
